A Virtual Event May 12th from 10-11:15am

Join us to help promote the acupuncture profession and learn about important legislation impacting our profession and how it will impact your practice!
     
There will be a panel discussion including our legislative champions: Senator Eric Lesser and Representative Smitty Pignatelli, and Amy Mager, DACM, L.Ac., Vice Chair of public policy for the American Society of Acupuncturists (ASA).

An Act Relative to the Practice of Acupuncture
Mandating insurance coverage for acupuncture in MA for the treatment of pain, nausea, PTSD, and to treat opioid addiction.

HB2273 and SB1402
An Act Relative to the Safer Treatment of Pain
which establishes clear didactic and clinical criteria for non-acupuncturists and non-MDs/DOs performing dry needling.

SB1520
This legislation allows use of acupuncture NADA protocol techniques for substance abuse treatments by qualified health practitioners in public health settings only.
